For those of you who have accounts on both and , now that following works in both directions, are you going to:

@j12t But I plan to keep mastodon as my main account and take advantage of bridging. In my view, the Fediverse is the long term solution.

@j12t Only use Threads when checking on who's there, and sometimes try to encourage them to enable federation.

@j12t I’ve cancelled algorithmic Threads, and will continue on Mastodon, and Bluesky too where some my diverse networks are reconnecting with intelligent dialog.

@j12t keep both but I'll probably almost never use the Threads account to post

@j12t I have a Threads account (and of course this account on Mastodon/Fedi is my "main" social presence). I pop on Threads every once in a while just to see how things are going but it is an extremely small percentage of my overall social pie. **WHEN** full-fledged, bidirectional AP support is implemented, my ultimate goal would be to migrate any followers I have there over to this account via AP Account Migration (socialhub.activitypub.rocks/t/)

SocialHub · Account MigrationI’ve been idly looking for documentation on account migration. Does somebody have a reference with details for Mastodon mitra/FEDERATION.md at main - mitra - Codeberg.org explains what is needed for Mitra to do a follower migration ActivityPub - Mastodon documentation is pretty vague with “Requires alsoKnownAs to be set in both directions.”. I can imagine how it is done, I’m wondering if there exists a reference.
